New Plec Id - Possibly L124 - With Pic

Hi picked up this chap yesterday, got it from a maidenhead aquatics but it was a rehomed fish and they didnt know what it was I think its an L124 but not 100% what do you think?

yes, its definitely L075/L124/L301/LDA02 - para plec, there are quite a few around in the shops at the mo, great plecs

How big is it at the minute? Do you know what his maximum size will be?

LongS - Most websites say they can get to a max of 9 inches but if you do a search most forum posts say they max out around 6 inches after 3 years and I think mine is the same, I got it from an LFS but the guy who served me this was his fish he was re homing and he had it for nearly 2 years and it was quite big when he got it so I think he is maxed out now at about 6 inches minus tail but his tail is huge!! The biggest tail on a plec I have ever seen when its flared its at least a inch and a half / two inches long on its own!!

Yeah! mine is the same, he hides quite visabbly through the day and kind of wants to come out for food. I drop in 5 algae wafers in at night for the three plecs, I know the other fish eat them as well and they are always gone in the morning so Im pretty sure he is eating
