New Plec Good Idea Or Bad

Id like to get another plec should i go for a male bn for my female or ive seen a lovely gold stripe panaque pleco at my MA im thinking of reserving. Im planning on upgrading to a bigger tank for my firemouths. What you think ?

Only go for a male bn if you want to breed because they will breed and are prolific producers 30 to 100 every 6 weeks!

The Gold stripe panaque would work fine in your tank. But note all Panaques need bogwood in their aquarium

thanks what about an orange spot one? they had them said they grow to 15cm. how easy are the bn plec to raise and can i do that in my tank or would they need special one
