I've recently planted my aquarium with Tropica Ludwigia repens ''Rubin'', after removing my previous Amazon Sword which took to growing right out of the tank and was wondering about whether to leave them in their pots or not, as I want to get these planted correctly and hopefully get my new aquarium finally 'sorted', as it were. Problem being you can still see the pots they are planted in so I thought to ask here which is better, and what the best way is to plant them without pots, (as I've tended to have plants uproot and float away without their pots before).

Many thanks!

yeah, perhaps trim a cm or two off the roots to promote new growth. and remove any dead leaves.

seperate plantlets as well for better growth.
