New planted tank!!

So I’m sure some of you have seen my posts of my brand new 65 gal angel tank (no angels yet because we’re still cycling but there will be )... coming here to share my excitement about the plants. Everything is finally planted and I just found 2 new leaves on our Anubis plants!!! Final planted pics (before growth) attached and plan on updating once they’re all growing and everything is looking more lush

Looks really good great choice on the dragon stone, looks really textural but does not affect water chemistry like some other aquascaping stones.

I would recommend getting some more really fast growing plants in there though as with all that aquarium soil you will have a lot of nutrients going into the water and without the plant mass to take them up you could get into issues with algae.

Something like Helanthium Tenellum or Sagittaria Subulata (aka dwaf sag) would help in the foreground and Hygrophila Siamensis 53b or Limnophila Sessiliflora in the background would be good too. You can cut the Limnophila up into 3-4 inch stalks and plant them and the stems will grow roots.
