New plant questions

Whats the process of putting new plants in a tank? i read of snails and soaking the plant in cold waterfirst to avoid any tips that you have would be much obliged! =]

I just brought home my first plants last night I rinsed them in lukewarm water and moved my hands over them gently to get rid of any snail eggs. I hope it worked!

Just dig a hole in your gravel and place the plant there, then push gravel around its roots. Again you can read more in the plant forum. There's lots of interesting posts there. I recommend the pinned articles at the top.

Thank you! =] I rinsed it in cold dechlorinated water then put it into the gravel it has a spungie stuff on the oot so i left that on there. My yellow lab is picking at it =]

At least they are eating it. Thats good that they are picking at it, it is a good sign.

Ever since I've been letting my live plants soak in a bowl of cold tapwater I've never had a problem with snails. My dalmation molly picks at the plants all the time. It's cute.
