Hi all I am new to the fourms but not to fish..
here are some pictures of my 215 gallon tank and the fish
I haven't put the trim up around my tank but will do that soon..

But you realise that as that dragon wrasse starts to grow and mature it will cause HAVOC in your tank? They will quite happily try to move rocks around. Have heard stories of cracked tank glass due to the dragon wrasse redecorating.

Yes I have heard that.... I have now also added a christmas wrasse...

I have fun watching them "fluff" the bottom to make little holes under large rocks..

Nice tank.
I see a distinct lack of liverock. What type of filtration are you using? I personally am not keen on the background, i feel it detracts from the true beauty of the fish you have there... A full black or blue background would really make a fantastic contrast for your fish etc. No offense ment, its your tank afterall.
I love dragon wrasses, they have a great character but as they grow they can be troublesome. Perhaps it wont be so bad as you seem to have a fish only system but i would certainly not recomend them if you plan on a reef anytime soon.

your right no live rock in this tank...
My wife did the background... I thought it would be different... no offense taken.. I like hearing everyones opinion. I do not want to put any live rock into this tank.. I want to build another tank that will be a reef tank in a year or two...1) once I finish my basement and 2) once i have enough money to do a kick A$$ reef tank. I probably will do a tank that is between 150 and 215 gallons for that. i have a full sized 1750 sq foot basement and I will have a game room theater office and workout room down there so I want place the tank in a good location down there.

It looks remarkably like a wrasse i used to have and this was a silty wrasse. I could be mistaken of course, there are so many different species of wrasse and so many of them look very very similar.
All the same its a gorgeous fish and very good at hunting down bristleworms. Mine had lots of character and i was devastated when i lost it in an ammonia spike.

that fish did look really similar, but I don't think it was a silty wrasse so I looked them up on the internet.. this is what i found.
