New Member Treatment....

I see a lot of posts where the person asks some questions about the fish, get more than they wanted, disagree and chose to keep THEIR fish a different way, only to have replies such as:
" pfft don't take our advice and watch your fish die in a month ".

Those of you who make these posts: Stop, you don't know everything, I've broken MANY of the pieces advice and kept my fish SUCCESSFULLY. Your not God, you don't know every single way to keep a fish. You simply asked for some insight, its advice, not law. We are all here for the same thing: fish. So please, tone it down.

very good point, but I think that most of the time that that phrase is said is when something is grossly wrong (oscar in 10 gallon or something like that) in my observations.

I think a lot of the time people on this forum are way too worried about everything when most of the time it will be fine.

I've seen it everywhere, in all sorts of topics, and I think the way its worded is a bit mean, could be a bit more education rather than simply trying to get them to change by aggression.

Lol, I never said there is only one way of doing things, I showed how feeding live fish to an ACF is beneficial to their health, never swore it was the only way, but what I've found to be the best way (IME). Please, if you know so much more, stop talking smack and prove it.
