Saw this boy today in my Lfs, not seen one like that there before, they're usually red or blue.
Anyway, I couldn't resist him & he came home with me.
I've had to divide my 25 litre cube for the time being as they had no more cubes in that size, they did have a 14 litre (3.5 gallons I think) would that be ok for him as I could go back & get that tomorrow, if not I have to wait a week.

love his color, i saw a half moon at my lfs with coloring like that but it was blue and white and i didnt have the money or space

I really should stop looking at the Bettas, but I can't help myself.

Do you speak of the 14 & 25L cubes at Pets at Home? You could always see if another store which isn't too far from you has any in stock. I'd personally go for the 25L version, but 14L could work too

I have 2 near me but only 1 stocks them.
I did wait in the end, picking up a 25 litre on Monday

I got him from P@H, they usually only have reds or blues, so was delighted to spot him.
He's in his own tank now & is a happy boy

Omg seriously? Where you based I am coming to camp outside your p@h to claim my beautiful betta lol my local p@h only ever have red or blue I want a pinky purple 1 and will call him bubblegum lol

What divider did u use as well please? I have just got a new 10g tank and want to divide it and get 2 males. I am inheriting a green and red crowntail who is in meer of a new home but want a hm betta also. I presume the bettas can't see each other thru the divider please?

Lol it was in southport, bit far from you.
He's the only one like that I've ever seen there, though just lately they have been getting more variety in general in their fish
