New Lil' Girl

I went to the LFS today to pick up some panda corys (they didn't have any! ) but it wasn't a wasted trip because I came home with this little girl....

She's SO tiny (about 1/3 the size of my other bettas) and adorable. When I was looking at all the bettas in their cups, she kept "following" me from side to side begging me to take her home, so I couldn't say no.

Can someone tell me if she is a CT? She appears to have the little points on her fins, and the LFS had both CT and VT males, so I wasn't sure. Either way, she's a sweetie.

$3.99. Just "normal" betta price. They had some really pretty CT males too that I was tempted by (same price) but I didn't get them.

And I know its hard to tell in those pictures (my camera doesn't zoom in close enough) but she LOOKS like a CT -- actually looks like double crowns, but I dunno. I'm pretty new to the "fancy" betta types

she appears to be crown tail Her rays are split at the tips, just like the crown's normally are. I had a little girl just like her... but the male was a bit rough with her during spawing and damaged her gills... she didn't survive..

Aww sorry to hear that.

She's much too small to spawn with my boys (and they're probably a bit old anyway), though they'd probably make a very pretty combination.
