The other day in a spontaneous crazy tank improving 'fit' I somehow managed to spend £200 on a nice shiny new Arcadia Overtank Luminaire. The 'fit' passed and when I came to it was too late to return it as I was already half way home with it on the back seat of the car(honest its a terrible medical condition I suffer from when in shops with shiny new things  ) at least thats what I told my wife................
Anyhow it has two 24w 14,000k t5 marine whites and two t5 actinics which have brightened things up considerably in the tank(30 galls). This obviously increases the range of corals I can now keep but I'm not sure as to what?? I don't know what level my lighting would be considered (as in moderate/high).

Advice would as ever be greatly appreciated.

Johnny.

I wouldn't consider it high, but moderate s probably a reasonable estimate. :good: Most corals will do alright under T5's, but theres too many to list. Softies and LPS should do fine.

Thanks Mr Miagi :good:
To be more specific I was thinking about a closed brain and a frogspawn( or maybe a bubble). So I guess they'll be fine.

cheers Johnny

Those would all be just fine. Are these 4xT5 bulbs in addition to anything?

96w of T5 in a 30g is pretty good. IME you can keep SPS if it is higher up in the tank and the rest of the tank parameters are in line. Some clams will also do fine. The corals you are looking at will be fine in there.
