New Lighting Needed

Well after today's tank clean the lights just stopped working. Perhaps it could be fixed, but I only have 0.69 watts per gallon so I'd like something new and powerful.

I have a 29 gallon tank, so I need something to fit that, obviously. I'm going to keep my hood, I just need a new lighting system. Any suggestions? I want to have a planted tank, so something over 2 wpg.

What's your budget? Since, most of your fish are low light I might just fix the loose wire or something (and be done with it). I suppose you could get a "Home depot" special where you just put in the guts in to your pre-existing hood. Power Compacts (retrofit) might be another option, as is a LED unit. It just depends on how deep your wallet is .
