New Light System

Hi guys.
Im looking into getting a decent light for my tank since my halides packed in around 4 months ago, forcing me to give up corals due to expence, and an added house move.

I have been looking at a unit which runs 2 54watt T5's. The system in a Hagen Glo T5 unit.
My tank volume is around 90gallons which will give me just over 1watt per gallon.

I was wondering what light intensity I can expect. Will it light up my tank well and show off the fishes colour well?
I would also appreciate any other info you feel like giving with regards to lighting.

TMC have made a light unit made totally of LED's it claims to have the output of halides but only costs £7 a year to run
