New Kitty

[Sorrell]

I got to our animal shelter at least once a week for various reasons, and I have been eyeing this cat for about three weeks now. She has had two litters of kittens since June, and she was also a foster mom for some orphaned kittens. Just a beautiful cat. Anyway, I was there when she was brought in by a four year old carrying her by the neck Obviously very kid proof. Anyway, I've been thinking about her ever since. Today was the third day I got her out to play, and she came home with me

She's so pretty, and sweet. Fitting in nicely so far, still just checking things out, but looking good. We've had a suprisingly little amount of hissing amoung the other two cats, so I think this will be a good thing

I'll get some pictures up today, she's a lynx point We're working on a name, here's the narrowed down list:

autumn

I like Charlotte, Daphne, Savannah, and Autumn the best

I like Emma, I am not a fan of Savannah tbh but I think that's because it's a very American name (no offence, I am just not used to it).

I think we're gonna go with Charlotte She looks a lot like a cat we had named Sabrina who died two years ago at 18, and my husband says he's worried that I was drawn to this cat as a way to get Sabrina back, and Savannah sounds too much like Sabrina. So Charlotte it is I suppose

I promise pictures tomorrow. My camera is in my purse and I left it at my friend's house tonight. I have taken a bunch of pictures, but I didn't upload them before I took off

She's made herself right at home although her an Nicole are definately having it out now and then. It's more loud then physical, but I guess time will sort it out.
