a friend pointed out this site to me, so here I am i've been keeping bettas for a couple years now. once my shipment from thailand arrives later this week, i'll have 30 betta splendens. i'm also getting 6 betta imbellis in the near future. i'll spare you photos of everyone since i have so many, but here are some shots of my little clan

thank you i'm planning to breed the orange plakats as soon as they are ready. depending on how that goes, i may breed the red gold male with either the gold female or the red gold female at some point, too

some of those are actually $3 petstore fish (Aranince, Yoda, Official OFfice Fishy, to name a couple). i've become quite friendly with one of the breeders in thailand. he has excellent healthy fish, and in exchange for being a good customer and letting him use my photos (theyre clearer and show the fish's color better than his) to help sell his stock, he's given me some very deep discounts
