New Here, Here Is My New Tank!

Hi guys, I am the g/f of a member on this site called smoothy

I am 5 weeks into fishless cycling my tank, thanks to the thread on here

It's a 35L Arcadia Arc

My tank has changed so much in this time, but now i am finally happy with it........for now

It has a sand substrate with rocks collected from local river, Redmoor wood (Cost £1!!! Bargain!) Java Fern, Amazon Swords & Anubias. I have just ordered some flame moss to attach to the branches of the wood.

Here is my tank....

I seem to have had a nitrite spike the last few days, it was clearing in 24hours but not now

Does anyone think Florish Excel would make any difference?
