I have mixed group-
3 guppies
3 glo fish tetras
2 glo fish danios
1 ballon molly
1 rainbow
1 dwarf gourami
3 Cory

Tank size: 25 gal
pH: 7.4
ammonia: 0.25
nitrite:0
nitrate:10ppm
kH:
gH:
tank temp:81

Volume and Frequency of water changes: 7 gal weekly

Chemical Additives or Media in your tank:api stresscoat and quick start I also add salt (tiny bit) as ice had ich a couple weeks ago or what I thought was ich. Not sure. Cleared up fast with salt and higher temp

Recent additions to your tank (living or decoration): I fixed a plant with hot glue gun
Added the new guppy 2 days ago

Exposure to chemicals: don’t think so

On a side note my yellow guppy has red marks on his tail...could this be injury for both or rot??

Do a 75% water change and gravel clean the substrate every day for a couple of weeks. Make sure any new water is free of chlorine/ chloramine before it's added to the tank. This will reduce the number of disease organisms in the water and help the fish heal.

Clean the filter if it hasn't been done in the last 2 weeks. However, don't clean the filter if it is less than 6 weeks old because you can kill the beneficial filter bacteria that is growing in it. Wash filter media/ materials in a bucket of tank water and re-use them.
A clean filter means the tank water is not being filtered through fish poop, so it helps the fish heal.

Monitor the tail and if it goes red and inflamed it has a bacterial infection. If it goes white and fluffy it has a fungal infection.

Try to do bigger water changes after that, I recommend doing a 75% water each week to help dilute nutrients and disease organisms in the water.

You might also look for another aquarium so you can spread the fish out. Rainbowfish, mollies and guppies do better in hard water (GH above 200ppm).
Tetras, danios, gouramis and Corydoras do better in soft water (GH below 150ppm).
