Here are my new guppies. These fish are so underrated. I was always too cool for guppies till now I don't know why I waited so long. These fish are great. I am in love.

I have all female tiger tails with one black. Then one male tiger and 2 different males. I am not looking for pure lines I can't wait to see what colors my babies are.

They're gorgeous :D Especially the one in the third photo.
I love guppies too - if I had room I'd add females to my tank, I'd love to get some baby guppies :)

Aww, cute! I'd get guppies again if I could, but I just don't have the best luck with them.

Thanks guys. I lost one male a day after adding him to the tank but the rest are doing great. They came from a good shop here in town.

They are beautiful! Your tiger male looks like my female, she has a big yellow/orange tail like yours and she has a blue top fin :D Its so exciting waiting to see what the babies turn out like. My first batch have all got red tails! The 2nd batch are only a few days old so I can't wait until they grow!
Keep us updated when you have fry :good:

Welcome to my world Snowflake311. I simply love my livebearers. My task this evening is to choose which of my livebearers to take to the American Livebearer Association convention tomorrow to sell at auction. Needless to say, the people I will be selling to are livebearer enthusiasts who will definitely discriminate on what they choose to buy. I expect to sell off the entire breeding colony from some of my tanks while picking up some rare goodeids with source information for my own tanks. My Characodon lateralis colony is no longer considered a single species. As it turns out, my fish are no longer considered lateralis at all but are merely Characodon sp. The ones I keep are no longer called lateralis but are referred to only by location information, which I fortunately have for them.
Most goodeids are either endangered or threatened species which owe their present status to the water in their semi-arid environment being diverted to agricultural purposes. I already have a tank holding fish that do not exist in the wild, yep they are considered extinct in the wild. The last known creek holding any in the wild was found bone dry a few years ago. Unless someone does something about it, many of the remaining goodeids face the same fate.
