New Girls

I just got back from my lfs and they had just got in a bunch of little female bettas. Some had such unique beautiful colors. So I ended up walking out with 3 ) One is turquoise one is royal purple and the other is a lilac purple

I really prefer females over males now. They have just as beautiful colors. The thing I love most though is that they can live together

I'm thinking of getting a 30 gallon and setting it up just for females. Right now I have 8 in a 14 gallon but would love to add to that

I'll try and get some pix of the new girls once they've calmed down

just remember that not all betta's will want to live together. You'll want to keep a real close eye on them.....

i tried keeping 3 females together but one was killed and the other two wont stop fighting even though its a 35 gallon tank. now they are in seperate tanks.

Yeah I've been watching them but so far theres no aggression at all. They all feed together and seem really happy I hope it stays that way

Those are some loverly girlies you've got there....that last one is a crownie isn't it .
