I dont think Hope is a crowntail, there are no crowns. Looks more like a delta instead

Although I'm not condoning breeding any of them (and I'm not telling you not to either)..as I think there are too many betta's being bred right now..that white DT is just beautiful.

There isn't a store around here that sells anything but veils..and most are your reg. old red/blue ones at that. The ones I have that aren't veils..either came from Aquabid or Kelly.

But like I said..I wasn't telling you not to do it...just I think they are like puppies and kittens and too many are being bred just because someone wanted one like the mommy or daddy. I'm not a big advocate of breeding anything for any other reason then bettering the specie or quality..so that's just my "2 cents". Didn't mean anything derogatory by it. Sorry if you took it that way, didn't mean for you too.

i'm sorry but i don't agree, you are in the states where you can go to many lfs and pick up a crowntail etc, over here in the uk we are crying out for more bettas other than veiltails, and when we can get them we pay 10+ pound

i don't want to start a debate or anything, but why does everyone assume we can get everything so easily in the US? maybe it is the fact that we are such a large body mass, and that many of the individuals on this forum are American and get these fish...but you can't say "you can go to any store in the US and get a crowntail," that just isn't true..and you can't generalize based on a few people in the US having/finding crowntails.

and 10+ for a crowntail..while that may seem ridiculous to us (i have seen crowntails from $6-10 in most places) and i'm sure many different areas see a different range of prices...but the fact is, everything is more expensive over there because of the (if i remember correctly...) quite a bit larger average income..everything is relative...

i'm not having a go at anyone, trying to step on feet, or hijacking this thread...but it gets frustrating to hear how easy and cheap everything is for us because we are in the US...sorry, but we have seperate "regions" and cities just like every other country in the world...to generalize as such just

i agree with abstract. i live in a town with a population over 10,000+ an theres not a crown to be found. closest place that sells crowntails i would have to say is a good 45mins from here an they might not even have a CT so then you wouldhave to go another 20min for a crown tail. so if you add it up its over an hour of drivin. so youd prolly end up spending moreo n gas then the fish

So Bettaman Won that Fish. I was Hoping to buy that fish from GrandBetta in Thialand. Thats who bred this DT.

You are so lucky RD, he is Gorgeous. You should see his Spawn brothers and Sister who are also White DT Females, they are Stunning.
