hes in a 200 galln custom built tank with the measurements of 66x30x24, i cant get the whole tank in the shot due to its size and the small width of our front room (if you look in the reflection you can see the opposit wall and a 55g tank) but this pic can give you a idea of the tanks size.

Looking good CFC, chunky fella. Lets hope he can stand up for himself. But at least he isn't being sat on by a bichir anymore. Very nice colouring and now you have some batteries you can take a picture of the Hemisorubim platyrhynchos. We can see you!

That is one hell of an oscar you have there CRC, it looks so healthy and bright, how much did you pick it up for?

I paid £25 for him/her , i could have also had his twin for just another £5 but decided against it as i dont really want a oscar war in may tank further down the line if they decide they cant get on, they werent a mated pair or anything so i didnt feel too bad splitting them up.
