New fish

After a lot of cursing my wages finally came today so I found myself zooming to the lfs to FINALLY get some more fish in my 15UK G. The tank has been up and running (in secret ) for a month with 3 of my platy fry so I felt like getting some more stuff.

So I went up and ended up coming home with a new betta (because everyone loves Bettas!) and a clown pleco for each of my tanks (plus a huge chunk of mopani wood for the 15UK G since it looks pretty boring at the moment). I may go back and get another clown pleco for the 21.5UK G since they're pretty, small and cheap

I'll put pics up in members aquarium photos as soon as I reinstall this digital camera.

I thought that but when I asked the lfs employee he said they should be fine.

I might go down tomorrow and pick up another two and put one in each tank again, that way they'll both have a bit of company.

sometimes the bloody staff at lfs havent got a clue bout the fish they sell. i agree clown plecos should be kept together not alone.

in his defense the guy that served me usually just does the marine fish but he got dumped in the tropical section for some reason. He's a nice guy though

in other news - you would never think it would be so hard to catch a pleco! the smaller of the two was being kept in the 15G so I decided to catch him and put him in the bigger tank. Took me about 30 minutes to catch him since he kept going in the plants!! Anyway, he's happily cuddled up next to the other clown plec in the 21.5G and all is now good in the world.

It took me almost a half hour to catch my 2 rhinos once. Next time Ill be borrowing sorells fish removal tool
