im usaly good about IDing things but i cant figure it out... it is long like an eel about 1cm thick and 1 and a half inches long. has striped runing along it up and down... ill try and get a picture. im thinking it is a baby fresh water moray eel. also the 'care card' said it should grow to 4 inches

never mind i got they are Khuli loaches just took me a while (told u im good at IDing lol)

can they go in brackish, or will the go in comunity?

If they are Khulis Loach (Cyprinid Forum ) than they are a FW fish. This information will help you:

Peacock spiney eels, Macrognathus aculeatus, can tolerate mildly brackish water (SG up to around 1.005), khulie loaches cannot.
