Cm or inches? If it's cm that tank is roughly only 14 gallons, which is on the small side for one angel, let alone numerous.

How many angel fish do you have?

Right, first i'm gonna just say, i'm not having a go at you, or trying to bemean, or insulting to you, or preaching at you, I'm saying this first because, i've had a few people just insult me for telling them a few truths.

Basically the general consensus on this forum is that each angel fish needs roughly 20 gallons, now this is up to the persons discretion, but some believe they can keep them in 15 gallon tanks.

Unfortunately your tank, isn't even 15 gallons, and you have 2 angels. While it looks like they have lots of room, you are stunting their growth which will lead to problems such as illnesses later on.

I have very little knowledge on breeding, and so wouldn't be able to suggest whether or not being in too small a tank affects the breeding chances.

Sorry

OK, 20g should be fine for a breeding pair, so long as it is resonably tall, so unfortunately your new tank is not quite big enough. To raise all the fry, you will need one, mebe two four foot tanks, to acomerdate the fry. Idealy, the parents would be in a 30-40g

You would need to cycle all two/three tanks before adding fish. This involves using ammonia, not adding old water, or leaving them to sit for a few days. See [topic="113861"]here[/topic], for details of fishless cycling. :good:

In the adult tank, 50% twice weekly waterchanges would be adiquate, but more would be better. In the fry tanks you would need a minimum of 50% daily to get good growth rates. After a few months, you can cut this down to weekly. :good: It is important to keep the tanks clean, so algea clean daily (when parents arn't raising young of have eggs) and suck all dirt off the bottom. agin, fry would do best with 80% for the fist few weeks.

To breed angels, you need a bigger set-up than perhaps you realised. Please also note, that the four foot tanks will need to hold the fish for a couple of months to get them to sellable size. Angels breed between fortnighly and monthly, so to keep all broods, yet more tanks are needed
