Hey folks. My wife has just noticed white spots on one of my harlequins,i took a look at it and im assuming its white spot (said rasb has 3 or 4 white dots on it (almost looks like glitter with my tank lights))

I have taken it as ick and i have taken the following action so far, do you agree with me on this and have any input on what to do next..?

1. Put my old small filter in the tank without any media in just because it has a venturi and whacked it on full to oxygenate the tank
2.Turned temp up from 25-26,over the rest of the day ill be increasing it by 1-2 degrees an hour til it reaches 30
3.Added 4 tablespoons of TABLE SALT (will add 4 more before bed and 4 more tomorrow so it makes for 12 tablespoons in a 23 gal tank)

My stocking is
5 harlequin rasbora (2 months out of LFS)
2 leopard danio (2 months out of LFS)
4 leopard danio (fresh from LFS on friday)

Also to add,the tank is new and im cycling with fish, will the salt affect the cycle at all? and will it affect my daily water tests? (ammonia levels have been 0 since the tank was stocked on thursday (probably due to the fact its a 23 gal tank with only a few fish in?))

Is the leopard danio a scaleless fish? I cant really see any joins between scales? if so what do i do?
Comments and advice wanted peeps.

I'd get some anti-whitespot treatment in there ASAP - unsure on the table salt as I've never added any due to having Corys - Waterlife Protozin kills pretty much all of the known ichs / whitespot - you should be able to get some from about £4
