New Fish! Got My First Rare One Yay Hehehe

even though i own my own lfs, ive been helping out for a while at a marine aquarium for a friend. last week we got a shipment in from the u.s. this caused qutie a stir i can assure you as there are certain fish we can only import from the u.s. including yellow tangs, flame angels flame hawks a dartfish i cant remember the name of but it retails at $300 and is stunning, royal grammas and many others

ive been watching them keenly for the past week in the quarantine room...waiting...waiting...waiting

this morning the quarantine inspection guy came and released them yay could barely contain my excitement as i went around with first choice of them all

i finally setlled on 2 black coral gobies, 1 mystery wrasse and a royal gramma it wasnt cheap even at cost but i think its well worth it.

so far the gramma and the mystery wrasse are still hiding so i have no pics yet but hopefully can get some soon

and last but not least, my flame hawk. hes ultra cool but still hiding and zipping around a lot so i havent any good pics yet

its amazing when you think about the journey these fish have had. caught in the marshall islands, shipped to L.A. and quarantined for however long, flown to australia and into quarantine for a week before i scoop them out and release them in their new home. thats some well travelled fishies
