ok i have kept my eye on this for a while. Ramirezi fish. I have been in to most fish shops and they dont sell them so just for me i was going to order this Here. Can any one tell me if it would be comptible from a 5th point of view if it would be ok with fully grown angels, red tail, clown loach, tiger barb, pleco and Petricola Synodontis cat fish (x2).

Thanks alot
Luke

The clown loach is a community fish and likes the same PH level as the ramirezi. Only problem is they grow up to 40cm so you will need a large aquarium. The angel fish grows up to 15cm and requires a PH of between 5.0 - 7.5 so again it's compatible with the ramirezi but a medium/large tank will be needed for a fully grown one.

The Petricola Synodontis is not compatible as it prefers an alkaline PH level which is out of range for the fish above. The tiger barb is not fussy over what kind of PH you have but prefers acidic water so this fish would also be compatible and possibly more suitable for a smaller tank as it only grows to a max length of 6.5cm.

you would be better off buying these i get most of my dwarf cichlids from this breeder and the quality is fantastic

Thanks alot, i am looking so forward to this now. it says these ones only grow to 6cm and my tank is getting upgraded to a 180 litter from a 75.

these fish require quite a bit of care at least compared to ur other fish anyway. they are sensitive to nitrates along with the standard ammonia/nitrite. they are best kept at a temperature of 28C minimum. these conditions may be too difficult to meet on an overstocked 75L tank. and with the clown loaches, it might be too difficult in the 180L tank too.
