New Fish-Dwarf Blue Gourami

I just purchased a blue gourami to put in my 12 gallon tank which has 5 zebra danios and 2 panda corys. The gourami is just hanging out at the top and bottom barely swimming around.... is this normal?

How long ago did you buy and introduce the fish to the new tank? How did you bring the fish back home (covered under a dark cloth, insulated, etc.)?

I've never heard of a dwarf blue gourami... Is it a neon dwarf bue or a three spot (blue) gourami, or neither? Can you get pics for me.
