New Filter's Really Loud

I just bought two new Aqua Interiors 55 internal filters, both work fine but one is really loud. I've poked about and the only thing I could find wrong is that the magnet doesn't seem to hold the impeller in very well and it's a bit loose, does anybody know how to fix this at all or if there's maybe another reason behind it or should I just wait till the weekend and take it back and get another one?

I would take it back. If its broken out of the box no reason to fuss with it.

Are you sure that's the problem? There could be some air trapped inside it.

Try taking all filter media out but keep it in the tank for a sec turn it on to see if it still noisy ,

Try if you got enough space rotating the filter around and Upside down too see if any air pockets come out

And putting the filter media back in wet not dry will help I put my filter media strait in dry and then put it on made allot of noise because of air pockets,

If none of this works then I would say take it back refund or replacement any gd lfs will do that, even better get them to test it with a known gd one hope this helps
