New Filter

i have just subscribed to pfk and there offering a new filter a Fluval U Series Aquarium Filters U2 . so my question is how can i get the allready good bacteria from my old flouval into the new one most effectivelly.
and can i leave the fish in there while its being done as i dont have another tank to put them in or to establish this new filter by itself.

just put the sponge from your old filter in your new one you may have to cut it down

You can either put all the media from your current filter into the new filter or you can run the new filter alongside the old filter for a month or so.
