I'm not sure what her tail type is, except for it does not appear to be a veiltail. (too much spread) Her rays end up splitting slightly down along the edge of her tail, but her tails are a bit chewy at the moment. (She either has a chunk missing out of part of her tails, or she has a very odd split tail)

Anyway, her body is a bright, irridescent green. Her fins have a scarlet that is lined with irridescent blue. Her colors aren't "mixed" and are very vivid. :) Shes very beautiful.

Saturday, she should be getting a compartment mate, a little gold female. (They will have 8-10 gallons and plenty of plants.)

I may just keep just her, depending. :) But anyway, I am very satisfied with this little lady. She is a real gem, and a beautiful critter to watch.

the boys love her, too. *laugh* They are putting on quite a show for her benefit.

No camera, and I don't have the time to do a drawing today :(

I'm getting a digital from a friend on sunday, so I'll have pictures of my cuties around then.

Okay, I drew Emerald, the picture sucks, but you can get a rough idea of body shape and coloration.

The tail is slightly off, but not by much. Its pretty messed up at the moment. (And she has a really long tail for a female, I've noticed, but eh, if they say shes female, and two agreed on that, I'm going to go right along and agree its female too.. she did have the white spot the other females had, so... )

Meet Emerald. Her colors are *very* metallic, and she looks extremely much more pretty than displayed. I had trouble with her dorsal fin, because its so oddly shaped.

Any ideas on what she might be? Her dorsal fin stands straight up when she flares, her tails too screwed to really tell much, and there are no noticible crownings to her fins.

Thanks!
