New female bettas

I decided to take some pictures of my two new females and got carried away.
I'm going to take a few more pictures as soon as the battery on my camera finishes charging... it always dies right when I'm in the middle of a fishy photoshoot
The female hiding under the rock is fresh from Walmart today. The other is my new alpha female who came from a LFS:

Sizing one-another up... notice how the LFS female is missing some of her anal fin? That's a newt bite she received at the shop! She has really long fins:

I wish I could get my hands on some females that beautiful for that price! Great buy for such a stunner of a fish. I agree the alpha female has a wonderful electric yellow/green sheen. Also they are great pictures.

They usually don't actually nip one-another when I add a new female to the tank... just flare and show off a lot until one decides that it's not worth the fight
