Tonight I went out and got some more fishes for my tank.
It's a 37 gallon. I got two more tiger barbs, and one firemouth cichlid.
the total now are...
6 Tiger Barbs
2 Rosy Barbs
1 Firemouth Cichlid
The new fish have only been in there an hour or so. The firemouth has been hiding behind a piece of driftwood. Everytime he comes out to explore the tiger barbs mess with him and he goes running back. Is this normal at first? Will the firemouth eventually stand his ground?
The other thing i was wondering is... would having two firemouths in the same tank cause the firemouths to become more aggressive. maybe he's just lonely without his own kind around. what does everyone think?
