New Delivery - Polyp And?

Recieved a nice frag of polyps and noticed something else along the side of it. Is this the dreaded hydroid Myrionema ?

COULD be, but looks a little more like a zoanthid to me. Keep the rock isolated in the sand bed and see how fast they grow

Dems be yellow polyps there dems be!

They grow fast , like to be fed or they start to fade away(i feed mine on cyclops) and grow so fast you'll soon be taking clumps of them back to the LFS for credit/cash/swapsies

Magic, so some good news at last eh

Sorry, what do you feed them with again ? I am just using Coral Frenzy, would this be enough ?

I use cyclopeeze for mine, I just mix a pinch up in a bit of tankwater,kill the pumps and gently target feed them with a pipette. When the food hits the tentacles they'll retract and swallow it for a few mins. Once a week should do but twice a week and they'll grow quicker .

Now that is nice !!!


I shall now be keeping them and looking to get more frags, something similar and as easy to keep for now.
