Today I got a Cory for my 10 gallon tank. I also have 3 danio and 3 cardinals. I want to get a dwarf gouramis in there, but i also want to get 1 or 2 more corys. What should i do?

A alone cory is a sad cory. They really need freinds of there own kind. You will never see it live the life it would if it had friends. Most can live a long life alone but some die from being alone. So IMO you need to get atleast one more of the same kind 2 more would be even better. But you alos need to watch your bio load.

As I said in a topic you replied to in beginers, cories are schooling and need to be in groups of 3+.

Oh and cories don't create much bioload so if you have space I would not worry about their waste.

ok ya the place i bought mine today only had one so tomarrow ill find another pet store that has some of the exact same kind

Cool, good idea. What kind is it you have? Others of a smiliar size will shaol together as logn as you have more than one of the same kind. Broze and albino are the same but albino is a different form so they are grand together.

Just so you know. :)

I have one that looks identical to this one but i dont know its specific name

Thats a False Spot Cory.

I Think instead of getting the other fish you wanted your better off investing in 1 or 2 more cories, I am guarrenting you they will be happier
