i just got a new male convict and was wanting to get a female, so how do i no wat female to pick, and when i get one will they fight? because my goal is to eventually get them to become a breeding pair.

Pshhh, as long as the female is smaller than the male, you shouldnt have any problems. Convicts are about the easiest fish to breed.
