As you all know here at TFF.

i have a bad habit of being extremely active.

Anyway.

I HGOt a new computer screen today.

and its KILLING my eyes lituly.
my old computer would'nt hurt my eyes at all.

but this one is KILLING then..

Is a Samsung (Dunno what one) Any-one had siimular experiances? ouchs :-(

how close are you sitting? I bought a new one a few days ago and it took a few hours to get used to, and my eyes were whaling afterwards.

Give your eyes a break for an hour and then return to it.

I've had this and it was due to the default setting of the new screen...

Have a play with the brightness and contrast and adjust to suit.

The main reasons behind it will be one of the following:

The screen is differernt size and its taking time to adjust,
the screen settings are not right for you, ie brightness etc
you're sitting to close
you need glasses

I;ve used loads of different monitors and after playing around a bit with the settins have had no problems i;ve used pretty much all the ain EU brands and have also used differnt sizes from 14" to 32" monitor's

yea my old one/s where around 7 cm

this screens a biggy of around 50 Cm!

nice little screen though :p

Dad actuly spoiled me for once :D :good: i tihkn im "Slowly adjusting :D"

And truck.

it was all cuz of xbox this morning played 8 hours of assasis creed now its all like

bleeh and now i feel bad

I Actul do need glasses but i always loose then so i'll just get contacts tihs time

Probably the 8 hours of gaming

If it is a full 1080P TV then it maybe upscaling a picture which will pixelate it which your eyes may find hard to get used to.

Truck

i played Rainbow 6 vegas 2 24 hours straight and my eyes did'nt hurt ony bit.

not doing that again.

ANd its too wet to do anything.

Mom and dad bore me.

So i have no choice unles.. yea.. i'll probz play with the tennis ball that my dog likes :good:

The refresh rate also may hurt your eyes if it is not quite right. This is how quickly the screen flashes and can cause your eyes to ache a little if incorrect.
