I recently purchased 4 3inch clown Loaches from the Lfs. I currently have them in a 10 gal for quanentine purposes. I hope to add them to the 150 Gal in another week. I am trying to make sure I get the 150 up to around 80-82 degrees as I am scared of Ich (lost 3 loaches when I first started).
Anyway the clown loaches sometimes come out and play but a lot they hide in a cave I have in the tank. They don't seem to like what I am feeding them either. (I have tried bio-blend flake, blood worms, shrimp)
I want to take good care of them. I am afraid I am doing something wrong. Does anyone have any suggestions?

My water parameters: Nitrate 10 everything else is 0.

Most fish don't eat immediately after (or for a little while after) they are purchased. I would suggest that you just turn out the lights and let them settle in for the next few days, and then try feeding them :)

I would do as Dwarfs said and why dont you try them with some algae discs/wafers, These take ages to break up in the water giving the fish plenty of time to eat them.

Yeah, give them a few days before you start worrying. Mine were nowhere to be seen for 3 days when I got them. I'm going to be adding another clown loach to my tank soon; I wonder wether it will be as shy if theres other loaches in the tank.
