New Camera!

Today i finally got an slr camera! im so excited, its a pentax K100D slr, and its my first time using any kind of slr, let alone this new one, so these are my first lot of pictures. Its easier to use than i thought it would be.

So heres Rio, my 5 year old springer spaniel, im sure youve all seen him before.

this was one of the very first pictures i took and i quite like it:

This is my favourite picture of the lot: its just so funny, sudden gust of wind

Gorgeous dog!! I absolutely love his colouring, the look of him. So gorgeous!!!!

I don't know anything about cameras lol hence my horrible photo taking, but I love your dog!!!!!!!!! He looks like my co workers spaniel called Ben, she says her dog is a brittany spaniel.

Yeah he is pretty, im convinced he's more handsome than any other springer spaniel ive seen

Just as a side note, dont expect too many pictures from me, the pictures from this camera take forever to upload onto photobucket!

lovely photos. he is a very handsome boy. i love the one with the wind! nominate POTM from me. not bad for first attempt. still better than me and i've been using mine for 6 months now. you can actually resize the photos on your camera so you can keep the high pixel one for printing etc and lower ones for upload to wedsites.

great pics, nice & clear, i cant take a pic with my digi without it being blurry!!! its a sony cybershot, spends its time in the cupboard!!

Lovely photos Geo. Rio is such a poser!!!!!!!!! I've just bought a new camera n im a bit dissapointed wiv it so far. I went for the Kodak V1003

Those are fantastic shots! Especially for the first whack at it.

I'll second the comment that you seem to have a natural eye for photography. Half the battle with getting good shots is knowing where to position yourself for the shot and you have nailed that aspect with this batch of photographs.

You're dog is beautiful, I had a springer myself growing up.

You'll have to find a way to continue posting your shots, I think they are fabulous.
