New C102 In The 50 Exec

I got 9 of these from AB from snookn21 after a heads up from Frank Falcone

a trio of C102 with friends

these are a long nose Cory

The rest in the tank are short nose Cories

The search is on for leftover black worms

except for the swordtails who are very nosey!

What are the C or CW numbers for the long nose Cories?

I don't think the C and CW # are designated according to the snout. It is one of the features that help determine species, though. I have been getting some of the long noses. I am learning too. I just found out that all Cory species are assigned a C #.

These guys are very cute and seem healthy. The first shipment died in shipping. The seller sent a new box with 3 extras and I paid to upgrade the shipping. So I have 9 of them. I gather it ws a steal. The species is somewhat rare.

This week I am adding some blacks to my group and 6 more of the loretoensis. Soon I will have a colony of aquarium bred young juvie L046 (Zebra Plecs) coming.

I have a few fish to get from Frank Falcone this fall. Then I will go back to concentrating on organizing tanks and breeding/fry set ups. Only suessi and a couple of others will bring me out of the fish room. I may find more small dithers to add to tanks along the way.

But I have lots of work to do getting the tanks organized.
