So i found the most perfect betta tanks in my local lsf...they are about 1.5gallon glass cubes by aqua one for just 6.99!!!

SOOO.....it gave me the perfect excuse to go out and buy me a boy and look what i found:

he is nice at home with a coconut cave and plant, i opted out of gravel or anything...thats not a problem is it?

he is a no-name at the moment, waiting to see what he feels like!!

Very nice! my LFS only ever has combtails. and even them are rare for them to have!

1.5g is a bit small.

He is amazing i really really like the colors, but i agree 1.5 gallons is a bit small. and no no gravel is actually better considering the size, it allows more room for water instead of being replaced with gravel.

1.5 gallons is actually a good size. As long as the betta gets regular water changes and his happy and healthy, then all is good. 1 gallon minimum is recomended, so this works just great! He looks very healthy and appears to be swimming around. For ct rays, they look great! If his tank water quality is bad, his fins would look drooped.
