New Bgk

about 4 inches now in a 55 gallon with his only take mate a 5 inch bala and 2 plecos. any suggetions for suitable tank mates, i would prefer to avoid cichlids if at all possible

hmmm 2 plecos at 2 inches a 4 inch BGK and 5 inch bala in a 55 gallon tank? I hardly would call that over stocked, maybe in a year once they grow it will be but if everyone else thinks its overstocked let me know

i wouldnt say its overstocked at the moment. what plecos are they? common plecs?

Im afraid if you want to not overstock your tank you will need to return the Black Ghost Knife fish and Bala shark as both will outgrow the tank & Bala's need to be in groups so I would say remove the BGK and Bala & go with something else

I am well aware of that eventually they will outgrow the tank, I have a bigger tank when that happens

keeping one alone is not right
get 5 more if you are getting a bigger tank
