cheap ones too !! my favorite !!
i got a blue plakat with yellow on his fins close to his body..
i also got a big red delta.. very nice looking delta..
only $2 each !
i also got frozen bbs for the babies, along with some other fry food.
and 3 plants... really big healthy ones.. all 3 for $7.50..

quite happy with the haul of stuff! pics of the new ones friday maybe

silly me.. turns out the blue plakat is a female haha..
they were in cups and it wasnt too well lit..
shes a steel blue with some orange close to her body on her fins..
shes full of eggs which is a good thing tho.. :D

But that isn't too good cuz females at lfs's that seem fulll of eggs do really bad whne they breed and the female sounds like she's a mustard gas! blue and yellow fins right?

im not sure what ur talking about when u say females full of eggs at lfs do bad when they breed.. the female of mine that just bred is from the lfs.. about 100 fry im guessing.. i still condition them even if i think theyre full of eggs.. im gonna try her next weekend with the male plakat thats done my other 2 spawns.. shes not really a mustard gas.. very interesting coloring tho.. steel blue. like dark.. with orange on her fins by the body.. shes pretty large.. and has really nice fins and a big tail.. combs on the tail.. i will get pics up tomorrow.. the camera is with my sister..
right now im setting up a 10g community female tank.. i have 3 nice live plants in there, a little wal mart filter, a pot, and couple fake plants also.. im probably only gonna put about 4 females in there

no i dont think its a mustard gas because its probably a steel with from red wash.

shes definately a steel.. but its bright orange on her fins.. its really cool looking.. she has a huge tail also.. i really like her.. kinda suprised when i got her in better light and found out she wasnt a guy.. cause shes huge and i thought perfect.. another big male i can breed.. but nope.. a big female.. i put the male in the spawning tank today, and she will join him probably on monday unless she isnt ready by then

SHe wont be although the pet stoer may have made her eggnant dosent mean she's ready to breed I would recondition her for at least one n a half week

I already said that i know shes most likely full of eggs, but im going to condition her.. she was barred up in the store, but somehow my dumb self thought that it was just a cool pattern on the male.. one of my other males has bars all the time too, so i thought it was interesting.. never did i once think it was a female while i was in the store.. oh well.. anyways, im going to condition her on brine shrimp and bloodworms till probably monday.. if shes not ready by monday then i will wait till shes ready.. i will never throw in a female thats not ready to breed so dont worry :alien:

even if she's full of eggs it doesnt mean she's ready to breed. Conditioning isnt all bout the eggs its putting the female into perfect health and bettas from lfs are always not that good in health so i would still condition em for at least a weak and a half and if you dont wanna go ahead and watch your bettas die

you gotta read what ive typed.. everytime i typed about breeding her, i typed that i was going to condition her..

I already said that i know shes most likely full of eggs, but im going to condition her

i still condition them even if i think theyre full of eggs

As always, talking out of his bum.

Conditioning isn't called "I'm-gonna-wait-3-days-and-then-I'll-putmy-female-in-with-my-male" It has to be at least a week and a half

you're one of the most humorous people ive ever seen on here..
you should really practise what you preach..
anyways.. i will say it again.. read all the posts before you post a reply

Hey , nibbles has bred several times before and I am sure they know what they are doing. Just because they busted you on your thread about breeding yours right away dont mean you have to slam nibbles. Also I am not sure what you mean by you cant breed a fish from a LFS. Please at least learn the hobby before giving advice on it.
