went to a new fish shop and found him, could not resist, lol :D

The picture is not clear but from what I can see of his fins, he looks like a crowntail betta. He's nice!

What is the difference between crowntail and combtail? IS there a difference?

He's a crowntail.

The difference is how far out the fringies extend. A combtail has shorter fringies, like a spiderweb drawn by a 3rd grader. (Sorry, that's the only image I can think of.)

If he is considered a crown, he must not be pure. His crowns are very short, and he has a super delta spread. Probably a mix with HM, or Super Delta.

Still very pretty. Is he Steel blue, with red tips?

hiya

no not steel blue.

his head and top of body are a whitey pink, rest of body and main fin colour is more of a lavender blue with red tips, some tips are white.

i thought he was certainly a crowntail crossed with something, when i was able to look at the tail type pinned thread on here, i thought he may have some hm or delta in him as well, purely because when he flares it is almost a perfect semi circle, and his tail fin and top fin overlap.

I have a Guy that has fins like yours. He has Royal blue, and red fins.
His body is Royal Purple. His tail is almost HM too. His name is Rooster.
