My new addition- A red betta, with some strikes of blue, and black at the tip of the fins.
The owner of the shop I bought it from, told me it's a specie that doesn't come very often to my country (99% of the bettas here are veil tailes.. ).
Although it seems to me like a regular veil tail, maybe you could enlighten me?

(Sorry about that bad pictures, who would've thought it would be THAT hard to take a photo of a betta?)

Its a Crowntail. Place a mirroe beside the tank and watch it flair. It wont look like a veiltail much than,

Nice betta.

Are you sure? Crowntails have.. errr, how do I say that.. Longer fin-edges.. or somthing like that.
Is it possible that my betta is not fully grown, and when it will be, it's fins will be longer?

Here are some pictrues from the mirror test.

I agree, looks like a combtail. For crowns, the two sides should be equal if you divide the tail in half horizontally.

Yep yep, a combtail... and what a lovely combtail he is, too
