i picked up a nice but very small crowntail male, i didn't notice till i got him in the tank but on a couple of his trailers there seems to be a bit of white which i'm assuming is a bit of fungus or fin rot.
do you think i should as some salt to his tank or just keep the water clean and see if it clears up :)

medicate the tank with antifungal, the sooner its gone the betta (lol)

Personally i would hold off treating for now and just do daily water changes, the fish will be stressed from moving then adding meds ontop of that stress is not good

IMO thats your way of doing it and we all differ dont we, i just like to have the satisfaction that i have done something about it. But i get your point

the best cure for any fin damage is clean water and a good stable diet ;) i have the proof with my rescued VT, went from no tail to a full tail in less than a month :)

ok thanks, i'll just keep the water clean and keep an eye on it :)

Yep give it 4-5 days with daily water changes, if you don't start to see any improvement then medicate :)
