new betta problem?

So yesterday i bought a new male betta..got him home and put him in his tank...this morning i noticed that the blue on his tail was getting lighter...near the edge of his tail...it was not like this in the shop..cause he was in with gourami and was flaring at them alot..he had a perfect tail so i got him..i cant get a pic cause my camera is dead...and my pics suck anyway...so could someone point me in the direction of what finrot looks like? plz...any help is appreciated

sometimes finrot is black at the ends. i actually got a betta from bettatalk with finrot. it quickly healed and i wasnt adding medicine. i have never had a case of finrot (except for that) so i cant give any advice from experience id say just trust that website

thx jac..he didn't eat last night...but i figured that was normal...it hasn't stopped him from making an impressive bubblenest tho..so im wandering...ill add some salt and see how he goes for a few days..it might be the light in my tank...its not the best..thx for the link

hes probably just stressed out from the move. i would add some salt and not worry too much.
