hey everyone.....i'm a brand new owner of two male betta fishes and i just wanted to say hi and i have a few questions. I got the two bettas as a gift from my gf and sister and so i just have a few questions. They told me that i had to feed the two bettas once every other day. I dont know if thats true or not because i heard other people say to feed them once a day. Also how should i clean the tank? They told me that just take half of the water out and replace but i heard others say to replace all of it. if i keep the light on all the time will it effect the bettas in any way. One last question, i plan on addin some other fishes into the tank after i learn how to take care of the tank but i was wonderin if a 2.5 gal tank split in half big enough to put more fish in and wut type of fish work the best for that space? sorry im askin soo many questions but im brand new to takin care an aquarium and i wanna kno as much as i can...thanks for the help.

Riight...I'd say feed every day for 6 days a week, don't feed on day 7. I'd clean all of it TBH, much easier. Turn the light off at night, they need sleep too. Nope, 25.g isn't big enough for any other fish, also make sure the divider is opaque and well put in.

Trust me, if you ever experience 50-60 degree weather, the fish need a heater :p
