New betta coming to a tank near you!

Okay so I decided to buy another goldy for Toggle (my lonely black moor) so he can have a friend. So...while I am at the LFS I may as well buy another betta right? I can't decide whether I want to just look to see if they have a white/cellophane male or just pick the first one I fall in love with (probably will be the first one I see ) I've been wanting a white/cellophane male for a LONG time but my LFS's never seem to have any other colors besides reds, blues, and sometimes greens. So...what would you do? Pick one out on Tuesday (when I go to the LFS) or wait for that *special* white/cellophane male that may NEVER come.

Actually if you know what you want I would just wait for it. Just think of how happy you will be when that little cella is flaring at you every morning.
I too will be getting a few new ones soon, hopefully ones that I adopt from Wuv. You better show us some pics when you get yours!

Or...I can get another male on Tuesday and then when I see that little white/cellophane male I can buy a 2.5 gallon set-up for him. I will try to take pics as my boyfriend just moved into his new apartment and he has the good digital camera.

By the way how is your 120 coming?

The 120 is doing great. I am doing small water changes everyday as I am obsessed with the sand being clean and it seems like everytime I vacuum it, all of my fish get together in one spot and go to the bathroom. But I enjoy it, it keeps me busy. I bought a piece of nice driftwood on ebay a few days ago and it should be here tomorrow or Tuesday so I can't wait to add that. Then I will get some more live plants and it should look a lot better. Hmm...Maybe I will just go to the craft section at walmart and find those little crochet things you can use as a divider and split my 10 gallon into like 3 tanks instead of 2.

My dad buys those huge over-sized jars of pickles, would it be okay to put a betta in there? I swear I am not addicted. I blame Bettamomma for telling her walmart rescue stories!

LOL good to hear its going well for you! I think its these boards in general that are addicting. Im just flipping out for a new little betta family.
