Hello, need some help, had my first aquarium arrive with a few marks on it, one looks like just a glass imperfection on the bottom, but at the top it feels like a crack, they don't connect but they are either side of each other, I don't think water will go that high, but should I send back, I know that's a tough question to answer. But would these marks worry any of you. Thanks

As you've paid for it and it's new, you want it to be perfect. I'd send it back and ask for a new one to be sent. It might be absolutely fine but it might not be, and you've paid for something free from defects. The cracks don't look too bad but they can worsen, so best to be safe than sorry.

The problem with glass is that even the smallest scratches causes rupture points that are very sensible.

Yeah I think I'm being impatient and eager to set it up, shouldn't settle, as it's out of stock I might just get a refund, buy a superfish scaper instead and get a polycarb sheet cut out for a custom lid instead, at least I can then inspect the tank from the store instead of ordering online from Europe and hoping it's perfect again (this is a dennerele scaper 70)

I really want a glass or clear lid with the tank

Absolutely send it back!

I would send it back if it was me personally.

It looks like a rimless aquarium.

That means you paid a premium for that nice aquarium.

Get your money worth.

Send it back.

Further inspection I believe the bottom is excess silicone as it has a slightly rubbery feel, the top is definitely a crack though
