:thumbs:umm....ok...so my fish just dies because i had tapped the bowl once and there was coral in there and the coral took his skin off. And today he died. now i don't kno wut to do i already flushed him down the toilet, but i mean if i put 2 females to gether will they fight or sumthing?? And can female betta's get pregnat and if so how? :/ i feel sort of stupid asking these qustions but maybe sum1 will answer them and help me figure this out.

The coral may be beautiful but if it is going to cause injury I'd remove it and go with something softer. The betta folks here will have many opinions about whether female bettas can be kept together. Probably will depend on amount of space, and cover, their own personalities etc...
Sorry you lost your first one. Better luck in the future.

I'm a little confused about what your problem is, but it's generally not a good idea to put 2 bettas in a small bowl, even if it is just 2 females, they can still fight. Also the water quality might be poor if the bowl is too small. What size bowl do you keep your betta in, and how often do you do water changes? Do you dechlorinate the water? Also, real coral I know can be harmful for some non-salt water fish. Does anyone have more info on this?

i have a feeling he/she has wal mart plastic coral.. it is very sharp and unsafe... bettas dont really have hard skin, and if they brush up against the coral, they are likely to get cut, and become ill..... i wouldnt put 2 females in a bowl, they will kill each other
